Client: Inspiral Design

I designed this astrolabe bookmark based on an original astrolabe. I tried to capture the essence of the original while excluding as much unnecessary detail as possible. I modelled the prototype in Rhino 3d and then had it 3d printed, cast and finally, gold plated. my design was then used to produce a series with a different method.
