This Bespoke box was created based on the owner’s requirements for storing important documents as well as valuables in a home-office environment. The design is inspired by traditional Islamic architecture and the transition from square, to octagon and finally to circle/dome. Fully hand-made using traditional hand-tools and methods. The main box is black walnut and is accented with old-growth olive wood and lined with vegetable-tanned goatskin.
